👋🏾
My name is Cara Bernard (she/her) and I’m a Brooklyn, NY based social media and communications leader with over 8 years of work experience that has taken me across the country.
From serving in multiple capacities and in various state operations on the Hillary Clinton for America national presidential campaign, working as an Executive Assistant for two high profile Amazon Corporate Communications Directors in Seattle, helping build a multigenerational, multicultural and multiracial women's voting 501(c)(3)/501(c)(4) organization with a PAC called Supermajority as the first employee hired and playing a key role in developing that brand, to my current role working at the Smithsonian Institute’s newest and exciting cultural institutions, the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African American History and Culture.
